A seaman helps a detective catch convicts seeking secret gems.

David and his wife go to an old and strange house to look for antiques. But strange things happen to the wife. She suddenly seems to have disappeared without a trace in the house. From 1928 to 1943, Haus Vaterland was a large restaurant and entertainment palace in Berlin on Potsdamer Platz, originally run by Kempinksi, with around one million visitors per year, which can be regarded as the forerunner of today's event gastronomy. In the guest rooms there were a variety of theme restaurants, including the Palmensaal, a dance hall, where in addition to musical and artistic events, demonstrations and variety programs. The visitors of Haus Vaterland were mainly tourists from outside Berlin.

After losing their jobs, two boyfriends find the opportunity to start a new food-service company with the last of their savings. Risking everything, they embark on the mission of raising some quick money. But, things prove to be much harder than expected as they find themselves pinned down by one comic misadventure after another.

Near Christmas, Robert "Bob The Builder" McGraw Jr. and his machine team gang of talking construction vehicles are preparing for the Winter Christmas Holiday celebration season.
